Yes…guns…the magical answer to the worlds woes. And guns from America are a special kind of magic. With these guns you’ll have no need to worry the people fighting the Syrian government would ever turn on each other in a bid for power that lasts several generations.Right?
I do support the US helping Turkey by enforcing no fly zones and targeting ground units, NOT near civilians, with rockets. Syria has an anti aircraft defense system designed for war with Israel so it is one of the most advanced in the middle east, however…no one has the reach and destructive firepower of the US. I do NOT support putting heavy weapons in the hands of people who, once their war in Syria ends, uses those weapons against Israel, Turkey, another of our allies, or us. Not to mention heavy weapons with technology that would be valuable enough to China or north korea they would try to acquire some from the rebels.I don’t want to go to war with Syria, but it is time for NATO to do what it was made to do and in supporting its member nation, Turkey, end the brutal regime of Hassad.C.
MItt seems to have mixed up his Biblical passages… or is this another Etch-A-Sketch moment? It’s supposed to be "They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:4)! Mitt-think before you speak for a change and look to knowledge, understanding, and diplomacy, diplomacy, diplomacy BEFORE ever considering arms!!!!!!
More guns? Naah, what they really need is a tax cut. That’ll cure any and all inner-city violence — anywhere in world. -Paul Ryan will explain exactly how that works — uh, whenever he has enough time.-I’m late! I’m late! No time to say hello, goodbye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late.

I guess I don’t understand the cartoon. Is “guns” a metaphor for religious hatred?

Romney could look for guns in US parks or on Amtrak. They’re legal there now.
