the “bird” of course doesn’t even constitute a nail clipping. The F-35 on the other hand at $1.3 trillion obligated, now there is a bird that could use it’s feathers trimmed!

The more money we give them, the more jobs they send overseas and take away from Americans. Don’t encourage the thieves.

A perpetual motion machine is impossible according to the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Point is, I’ve read Atlas Shrugged, and even though Rand’s a good philosopher, she’s a shitty realist!

@ScottPM Incorrect logic, the Federal government received significantly less tax revenue over the past four years than the Bush administration did. Here are the numbers:http://www.usgovernmentrevenue.com/federal_revenue_chart That “dip” is where we are currently at because of this recession. Once revenue returns to normal, you will see how current policy has significantly reduced spending versus the Bush administration. Conservatives hate me because I’m much better at knowing the facts than them

What benefit have the taxpayers received from the occupations of Iraq & Afghanistan? We’ve borrowed $1.3 trillion dollars to make Iran the most powerful regime in the region. We already outspend China and Russia combined by a 5 to 1 margin, and Romney thinks we need to spend more? Most nations in southeast Asia spend 1 or 2 percent of their GDPs on defense. We spend almost 5 percent of ours on military. If China needs to be contained, we can help, but the rest of the free world needs to catch up.Top 5 Military Spenders:

Amazing how liberals focus on trivia and ignore what is important. 80% of our federal government income goes to pay for 4 items. (in 10-12 years it will be 100%) Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and debt on our $16T debt.

Foreign aid is pennies, big bird is pennies, defense is pennies. Focus on the real source of our deficit- the big 4. But of course those are the items the left loves and so ignores. Much more fun to suggest cuts in items they oppose rather than where the problem is.

This is even before the annual $1T deficit from ObamaCare fully kicks in.

If you are actually concerned about the future of the US concentrate on the real problem.

Bring back the estate tax which only hit the megarich.

    That’s just not true.

Say your dad owned a farm or business worth $3 million and dies willing it to you. If I recall inheritance tax was up to 50% That would be $1.5 million in taxes. Pretty much saying you have to sell what your father worked so hard to get just to pay the taxes. Even at 33% you are talking a cool million.

Do you really think that by screaming "lies"and yelling your views will be more accepted?

“IF” the recipients hadn’t raided …etc. But they DID. Fact of life. If the queen had 2 testicles she would be king. With the Democrats in charge of Congress they did indeed raid the vaults. Now the vaults are empty and we must pay. We are in the position where 80% of our income goes to pay for those 4 items. And since you are so smart you must know that within a few years both Social Security and Medicare will be paying out more money than they are taking in.

You must spend your time talking to liberals who never took Economics 101- obviously Obama never did. He has no solution and neither do you.

The debt got big because cheney/shrub gave welfare in the form of tax cuts to their megarich buddies. Bring back the tax rates of the 1960’s (without the loopholes) on the megarich. Bring back the Glass Steagall act. Bring back the estate tax which only hit the megarich..Take a look at France for a second before you spew your diatribe.
