It is sad little girls want to grow up too fast. They need to enjoy their childhood.

Even sadder that we let them. Since when can a parent not say “NO you can’t wear that!”

Also, if we “Yell” or get mad at them they will tell teachers or other scool official, that we did somthing to them even if it is not true, then we have DSS on our butts.

It is a never ending circle…We can not disiciplin our children because we get DSS on our butts, on the other hand they can run unruley thru the town and get in trouble buy the cops and we still get DSS on our butts. A loose-loose for everyone but the kids.

Oh, but the kids really do lose in the end whether they realize it now or not. Sad that parents can’t be parents anymore.

Sorry. I’m not afriad of DSS, so if I yell and say no, its NO. It depends on how you parent!

You don’t have to kill them to discipline them!

I’m not afraid of DSS either. I have 4 girls. None of them are divas. They know that it is not acceptable and more importantly, they know better.

ayln, so true. What’s disturbing is that the parents let them listen to this, and are probably there when they do listening with them! I listen to that music, but when I have kids it’ll be “me time” music. Not for kiddies ears!

I spanked my kids. I NEVER EVER hit them. I just swatted their little behinds. And I only used it as a last effort. I knew that I could get in trouble. Idaho has a no anything law…. no swatting, no soap int the mouth for cussing (Did that too), pretty much do not touch your child. Didn’t stop me from. But I know when to much is to much. It’s sad that there are people out there that don’t know that a spanking is NOT abusing and hitting and these rules have to be written for them.

Society offers so many ways for little girls to dress like…well I don’t think I can use that word here ….then they wonder how little girls end up being teen mothers with no idea who the father is…did I say that right ? I hope so

exactly the point i was trying to make. it all connects, but how people don’t seem to realize it is scary. i get it, and i never made made it past uncle. if i was the father of a little girl, i’d definitely object (and rejoice that the parents of the kids i “uncle” feel the same way).
