My teacher said that learning a new language changes the way you see communication and culture. She didn't say if there was a cure.
You won’t have a cure until the culture is grown.
I learned french in high school and didn’t start to see culture differently until college.

I am Canadian, was in French class from grade 4, 6, 7 and 8, then I was pulled out in Grade 9, as I STILL hadn’t figured it out! L
I took German in college. It re-enforced my opion that different languages give one a different outlook on things as well as effecting the way one thinks.
