Kat: Heart! I heard you joined a gang! Heart: Yeah, but we broke up. Kat: Was there a power struggle? Heart: No, everybody had to go home when the streetlights came on.
It does seem to just stop, doesn’t it? Maybe a lot of the drama in this arc was childish fantasy – there won’t be any consequences from the adults, because the adults were never aware of the Great Detention Breakout to begin with.
Come to think of it, early in the arc someone or other suggested that the strange little girl only existed in Heart’s imagination… And in that case, not just no detention breakout, no detention to begin with?
