Jack: We should be playing baseball today. After all, it's America's birthday, and baseball is America's game. Mondo: Hey, what about basketball? Basketball was invented in America. Peri: And football, What's more American than football? Abby: And soccer, a lot of American kids play soccer. Peri: Soccer? Soccer's not American. Jack: Yeah, the U.S. was about the last country to play soccer. Abby: Yeah, but we were the first country to officially call it soccer. Jack: No way. Baseball's the national sport. Mondo: Basketball. Peri: Football. Edith: And arguing about sports is the national pastime.
