The same people who were outraged about a slogan of “Defund the police” (which no actual elected Democratic office holder or candidate ran on) are now calling to “Defund the [federal] police [the FBI].” The hypocrisy astounds.
When the FBI was investigating Hillary (in a case that would soon close with no arrests, no indictments, and no charges of any kind), they chanted “Lock her up.”
When the FBI investigates crimes, including violations of the same Espionage Act that sent Ethel and Julius Rosenberg to the electric chair at Sing Sing, they call on their army of domestic terrorists to attack, dox and threaten the lives of federal officers who are just doing their job.
Law and order?
Those who proclaim it the loudest are the same ones who wrapped themselves in a flag that they trample on and clutch a Bible they have not read, do not understand and certainly do not live by.
Mike Pence stands up for the FBI, a long-held Republican value, and the angry mob resumes its calls for domestic terrorism.
Mike Pence has no more place in American politics. Republicans, now the Trump cult of personality, reject him for not following Trump down a path of treason. Everyone else rejects him for his five years of humiliating fealty to Trump through all his earlier crimes.
