That’s one of the things that amuse me about the global warming deniers (AKA ‘Ostriches’). Every summer it gets hot, every winter it gets cold. Along comes a cold day in December and they pull their head out of the sand (or less pleasant areas) and proclaim “See!!! Global Warming is a myth!!!”
I live a wee bit south of you - Phoenix, AZ. 2008 was a record year for us. We had 30 days where the high was 110 °F or higher. The previous record was 25 days. Six months later there was snow in the White Mountains - an event that happens about every other year. And we heard “See, there is no Global Warming.”
DrC, Well said.
