Audrey Hepburn sang Moon River in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Mancini wrote “Moon River” for the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. I guess Andy never saw the movie, because the lyrics do fit the context.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s came out in 1961. Neil walked on the moon 8 years later. This is anachronous!

Moon miles are evidently very short.

Bottom line is: this is just a dumb cartoon.

Dumb; like every one before it, and every one yet to come.

Why do folks who clearly hate a strip continue to read and diss it (like we care)? Anyone?

I read somewhere that the original title of Moon River was Blue River, but when they finished writing it they saw that Blue River was already taken. So they called it Moon River. Which explains the line “… My huckleberry friend…” .

I think because they’re blue……they are, aren’t they?
