There was a budget on Trump’s desk to sign, agreed to by both houses, and he refused to sign it.
There is no other side to this story, or anyone else to blame for the shutdown other than Herr Drumpf.

So according to the comic, the Democrat acknowledges reality while the Republican tries to spin it into some kind of unreality.
