Just a related note: Monsanto and the GMO lobby put over $8 million in the hopper to defeat a simple labeling measure in Oregon to offer the consumer a simple fact, whether products are infused, and it was NOT a “ban” of any type, just an advisory. Their ads were totally false and misleading, like having “farmers” (actors equity), who aren’t affected by the law, AT ALL, claiming it would drive them out of business.
Having facts is important, and Corporate interests aren’t interested in consumers finding them.
