It IS the history of “European settlements”, and missionaries, around the world, that they went into foreign lands to “save” the natives, killing them off, and in most cases, especially with the more religious exponents, dying off themselves in large numbers, until they learned to live like the natives.(Well, those that survived did.) Of course, every Thanksgiving, we’re reminded the the most intolerant of the intolerant, were dumped out of England, and came here to “make everyone worship the same as the did”, as a small child told Art Linkletter many years ago, in the wisdom of youth.
