Jack Benny had a running gag on his Chrismas show for years about buying some small gift, having it gift wrapped, then changing his mind over and over again. Never failed to be a hit, even though you knew it was coming. Mel Blanc (famous as Bugs Bunny’s voice, among countless others) often played the harassed clerk.
Mable is not going to be thrilled losing her commission on that outfit! At last Cathy tried to be discreet – well at least tried returning it when Mabel was not around.
Rats, Saturday and no football (soccer) to watch. I forgot it was the international break and I don’t get the channels that carry those games. Watched the test flight of StarShip instead. Really exciting and absolutely amazing.

Yesterday when I went to a Random “Cathy” comic, using the button below the strip, I found an old reply from Aaron to me that I hadn’t seen yet. I responded to him, but nothing back. Still wondering what happened to him, Billy, koolfunkygrrl, and others we haven’t seen here for so long … [sigh]. Really hope they’re all OK.
