Exactly how I think when buying clothes. I usually opt for the will-lose-weight scenario.

Buy them larger and take them in as you lose weight. If you learn how to do alterations it’s not a problem.

I used to buy my clothes too big and now I buy them where they are just right. If they start getting tight, I watch what I eat. All is well here, lightenup – chilly, but not too bad. Apart from snow last night and this morning, and hail this afternoon, of course.

Isn’t it strange, the way your babies blossom and grow when you’re not looking? I remember mine being ten and eight . . . and now my grandchildren are at university.

Sometimes I suspect that Time really may not be on our side!

Is it just me or does this dress look more like one of those little “french maid’s uniforms” that some women like to dress up in for Halloween . . . and other things?! Just sayin’!!!!! ;-)

lightenup: Thanks! Got Lil’s info down the rest of the way on my calendar now. Yes, you’ve got it right; my birthday is on Dec. 1st. You’re not the only one who’s been wondering what’s happened to all of our “regulars” — I’ve been thinking the same thing myself lately. There’s a handful of us still left here but it seems like ever since Aaron and Dr. Billy disappeared without a word about 5 months or so ago, a few other people have gone “missing” from “Cathy’s Corner” as well. I hope everyone’s okay — wherever they are! — and that they come back again soon. As for all the new members joining us these days . . . WELCOME!!!!! Glad you’re here!!!
