Cathy: Hello, body. A piece of 7-grain toast with fat-free magarine like substance is about to come down. All you've had for a week is cabbage soup, so the toast will taste like pie. It is not pie! Do not store it like pie! It's a boring little piece of toast to help you transition back to real food! It is not pie! Not Pie!! For some of us, the "nutrition facts" panel is never really adequate. Cathy's stomach: Mm! Pie!
Oh, great! Now all I can think about is how much I want a nice juicy piece of PIE right now . . . apple, cherry, blueberry, blackberry . . . it doesn’t matter . . . I JUST WANT A PIECE OF PIE!!!!! {sigh} Okay. Sorry about that. I think I’m better now. I know Cathy’s pain. Even though mine is a whole lot better than eating cabbage soup for every meal, it’s still really tough being on a diet when there’s delicious food (not to mention desserts!) all around you and you can’t have any of it — not if you really want to lose weight, that is! Saying “NO” is just so darned hard to do sometimes!!!!!
