Cathy: My whole day got wasted on inter-office drivel, and now my night's being ruined trying to do all my work. Therefore, I deserve some ice cream. I don't need ice cream. I don't even WANT ice cream. I simply DESERVE ice cream. Considering how often I've eaten ice cream when I didn't deserve it, it would be wrong to not have it now, when it's so justified! I force myself to eat this ice cream as an act of defiance against the moronic forces that trashed my day!! Caption: While the world sleeps, the power of rationalization is just starting to wake up.
