Hi Dogsniff, in reply to your previous comments about the slowness of the site, I agree with you; not much improvement. But I have noticed that it is only slow when I click back to the previous day’s comments and then try to go onto the A – Z selection from the previous day. If I return to today’s date and then access the A-Z selection it is pretty fast. I’ve just tried it now and that seems to be where the problem is. Hope this makes sense and that it speeds up your access times.

I think I’m more impressed that mom keeps a copy on her . . . O_O

I have seen a big improvement ofn the speed of this site on my home & office computer as well as my iPad. Much better for all 3 since last week.

I have a student in my class – he must be the materialized version of Calvin without Hobbes. I understand the parents – of both boys. Just yesterday he decided that our school should be burned down. He explained he doesn’t mind me but he minds the homework I give him. So I should consider less homework or he might change his opinion. I was laughing to tears and told him he had no homework for that day. The smile on his face…

I sometimes think that mothers went to “quote” school to learn all those that every one of us grew up hearing. One of my favorites was, “Close the door! Were you born in a barn?”“Mom, don’t you remember?”

Every time it’s cold or wintery, I get asked the same question—“Where’s my coat”? I don’t like to wear one at all, even when it is snowing outside. I don’t mind the cold. I live in Hackensack, NJ.
