Yeah, maybe. But in 20 years I’ll either be dead or (more of) a cyborg. I’m gonna re-integrate w/ my peeps asap. Though the ‘P’ part may be kind of problematic if THEY aren’t ready.

Panel 4:Adult cicadas can’t eat.

One nit. Cicadas don’t eat once emerged. They fly, make noise, lay eggs, and die. No eating. No biting. No stinging. And edible.

I like the drawings, but it’s LIE low. I remember the lyrics of Bobby Bloom’s “Montego Bay” when he says “I lay on the lie-low” I want to tell him (late 1970, died in 1972) it’s “I LIE on the lie-low”. Why do you think it’s called a “lie-low”?

It’s not lost on me, Mr. McFadden! Cicadas emerging as we emerge from the pandemic. As Broomhilda aka Dani Rice says above, artistic license! Great art!!
