What were the arguments preceding the enactment of motorcycle helmet, car seat-belts, and host of other, like life restricting laws now being considered with respect to food?
The greater good of the collective - a classic Nietzsche, Lenin and the rest of the Fraternite crowd.
Yeah, but the fine for not having health insurance is far, FAR, less expensive than buying the insurance (remember, democrats have admitted that they don’t see premiums coming down).
So just pay 2k a year remain uninsured when you’re young and healthy and don’t want insurance (like many of the uninsured now) and then, if you DO get sick - go make an insurance company sell you a policy since they can’t deny you.

Exaggeration is okay – that’s how humor works – but it worries me that some people then start to believe that the exaggerations are the truth.
