Comparing to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is just a terrible comparison, MS welded that browser so tightly to the operating system that completely removing it was nearly impossible. In fact, you’d grossly damage the OS GUI by doing so.
So I’m doubtful the government will prevail. It’ll be interesting to see how the matter shapes up.
