Clerk: Hello. Delores: Hi... I believe you have a message for me... Clerk: Ok... And you are? Delores: Tanzini, room 512... I just checked in 15 minutes go! Delores: I don't understand why you couldn't give me the message on the phone. Clerk: Hotel security. How am I to be sure you are who you say you are on the phone? Delores: Okaaay... whatever, can I just have the message? Clerk: Certainly. I'll just need to see some ID.
This is what we voters in Indiana have to put up with. Even though I have 30+ years of signatures on file they still need to see my Government Issued {non-secure} drivers license to prove I am who I “claim to be.” (BTW my wife & I had to get something notarized and the Republican Government made us put a thumbprint in a book to prove we were us). This is not political, just what really happened.
