Lovely.
Shoveling snow is great, in retrospect. The average snowfall where I lived in New Mexico was 52 inches. That got a bit old ;-)

I never liked shovelling snow, even as a kid when my cousin and I used to make some bucks shovelling walks. But thats mostly because I hate being cold with a passion. When I worked in Oberammergau it snowed several feet in the winter. I absolutely hated shovelling my car out.

It’s too bad there’s no such thing as electric driveways that automatically defrost in the winter.

There are, but they are expensive. I worked at the Alaska SeaLife Center, and it was great to hit that heated sidewalk, at the entrance. The ice was so slick, elsewhere, that you had to wear spikes on your boots just to walk.

I like Roscoe’s way of thinking.

One of the effects of Global Warming is more snow and rain. Because of more evaporation and the speeding of the water cycle.

People told me I should have gotten those spikes in Oberammergau. I slipped on the ice so much there the staff started betting on how many times I’d fall down in a week. (thats not even a joke, THEY DID)
