    Not personally, no, but he (like Galileo, Newton, Maxwell, Einstein, Watson & Crick, and others) did introduce one of the most powerful ideas that we have for understanding the world around us. For that I respect him (and the others), as I find that that understanding helps me to avoid the nostrums being peddled by the snake-oil salesmen.

    Chickens seem to have Tyrannosaurs in their gene pool. Though most mammals were the size of shrews or smaller. Though a water going mammal the size of a squirrel was found in the Jurassic. An astounding discovery some 7 years ago.
