    I still buy strategy board games. At least you don’t have to look to see if your computer can run it.

    I use my (desktop) computer for everything except games and checkbook. I use a calculator to do my checkbook. I don’t play games except the crossword puzzle in the paper.
    (back at the phone company years ago we called it the crossbar puzzle)

    I concur. But doing finances on paper is really slow and error-prone, compared with Excel. And solitaire actually is more fun on a computer.

    Of course, for this, you can use a dirt-cheap computer from 20 years ago. Just don’t try connecting it to the internet.
