It sure beats having to have that annoying harsh sound waking you up from a good dream, every day…I’d love to have the loving pets instead…nice

I very rarely wake up without at least one of the cats in bed, usually two or three

They don’t pester us to wake up though, when we wake up it interrupts their sleep

We had a bedroom so small …
    (How small was it?)
The tall chest of drawers was only about 1 1/2 feet from the foot of the bed, a water bed. Back when the water bed contained a big bag of water with no baffles.
    .
On those rare mornings we were both off work the same day, we’d try to sleep in. Our cat Puck would sneak up on the bed, hop up on the tall chest of drawers, then take a flying leap onto the bed, which would just about wash us overboard.
    .
By the time we were able to get our ‘tsunami’ calmed back down, he’d be in the kitchen, with the other 2 cats and 1 dog, waiting on breakfast.
