Wouldn’t she be a bit old for Ziggy? She first appeared in comics in the 1930’s. Wait comic book characters don’t age.

Ziggy and Betty Boop. How will she ever compete with Fuzz, Josh, Sidney, and What’s the fishes name? Does anyone remember Wack the duck? Whatever happened to him? Oh, and don’t forget the mice. Betty would be standing on a chair showing off her stocking tops.. ;)

No match for Blondie, but she is very, very old as well.

Betty Boop would be a good match for Ziggy. Even if she is older than is nothing wrong with a Cougar. In fact some men love older women.

Working for Dithers was rich boy Dagwood’s punishment for marrying a Flapper.

They could invite Phil and Fritzi. It might give Phil an idea.

Betty was at first a love object for Bimbo, an early Fleischer dog cartoon character who was supposed to compete with Mickey Mouse. After the Hayes act, which required all motion pictures (including cartoons) to be family fare, they toned Betty down, had her wear long skirts, gave her a grandfather and little brother, and a human boyfriend named Freddy.
