It’s taken me some time to get used to electric stoves here in Canada.

My electric stove acts like it’s possessed or something.
I turn the ‘eye’ on to about medium and it acts like I have it on very low. I turn it up just barely past medium and it goes full on, like it’s at the highest setting possible.

I know. Always had gas stoves in my house, but moved to Senior apartments and they all have electric stoves. But at least mine works OK.

I had no choice in the matter, had to have electric since gas lines were not even down my street. They went down 1/2 the block and stopped! Most stupid thing I ever heard of, would much rather have gas. As for the bird, I’m wondering (now) if it’s actually a FEMALE bird and she is worried about her eggs?

Would you really want to cook right where a parrot perches?
