    to-mr and Nezih – you all are reading way too much into this. The joke is that they are shipping him far away and quickly. So, it would have been more palatable to you if they used New Zealand? That’s absurd.

    The joke is centered on the fact that the trip he just found out he won leaves in 10 minutes rather than on the destination. It could have just as easily been Singapore or France. Unless YOU have some reason for thinking Rwanda is a bad place to visit, I don’t think you should read that into this comic.

    @ to-mr & Nezih: I think the joke here is that this free trip is to a place far away from where he booked this flight & that it’s leaving before he can even get out the door of his CHOSEN destination. It would be like winning a dinner for 2 of liver right after eating Chateau` Briand & having to eat it before even paying your check. It’s not that liver is terrible tasting (even though I think it is), it’s because it’s being forced on him.

    what’s in Rwanda??….who saw Hotel Rwanda about a man who sheltered Rwandan refugees…it starred Don Cheadle and I think he won an Oscar for the role
