    That leaves me out…I have a lighter but no ashtray…so just why did they put in the lighter if I’m not supposed to smoke because I dont have an ash tray…hmmmmm

    The folks at Toyota told me that was an outlet for accesorries…sure enough, when I looked closer at the “lighter” I discovered it had no coil.

    I never smoked. I put the lighter in the ashtray and use the outlet to power the CB radio, or occasionally to charge the phone.

    If not for lighter outlets, people would be unable to plug in GPS receivers, and the roads would be full of cars wandering around lost.

    I know, some cars have GPS receivers built in, but you can’t take those into the house, Tourist Bureau, etc. to set up your destination, nor use them in your pocket when walking from the parking lot.

    I don’t smoke. It is bad for everyone and I ’m glad to see the price of cigarettes going up and up. Besides Ziggy is a non smoker. I also use my lighter to charge my phone and I would never let anyone smoke in my car or my home.

    I put the change from my fast food meals in the ash tray. That way I have change when I need it.
