Gotta be more “real” than most of ’em. No Twilight Zone episode ever led anyone to expect the arrival of “Honey Boo Boo”.

Oh shades_is_here…you are not missing out. Honey Boo Boo is a little chunky girl who does pageants, but family are the stereotypical redneck type and there is a show about them. There are clips on youtube…though I don’t recommend watching it…

I thought it was Fox News.

I would say that all the subgenre of “reality shows” that have a group of disparate people cloistered together in a venue where they are subjected to unreal challenges bear a distinct thematic relationship to the Twilight Zone.

I maintain that the “realest” of so-called “reality shows” is The Amazing Race. They at least have to deal with the real problems (clueless taxi drivers; bad travel connections; mechanical delays; language problems; and inconvenient opening times of various attractions) experienced by other round-the-world travelers.

Makes sense Ziggy, we’ve been living in the twilight zone for awhile now.

Fox News caters to the uninformed and makes them more uninformed. How you concluded you should make the opposite statement makes zero sense.

If you will. Kris, an every day woman, she has a husband, and few spoiled adult childreen. They are like everybody else on the planet….and yet they have 2 reality shows. Thats right in this world the Kadastrians are famous for nothing…this can only happen in “The Twilight zone”

@gocomicsmember
You have just insulted one of greatest T.V. shows EVER!!!!!!
These so called “reality” shows are from a different universe unknown even to The Twilight Zone. They bear ABSOLUTELY NO resemblance or theme to a quality show such as The Twilight Zone was and still is.
I would venture to guess (from your comment) that you are one the “disparate people cloistered together” to watch these mindless “shows”(?). In other words Idiots!
