I didn’t know Ziggy lived in California. But of course the way things are going, such a thing will soon be required everywhere.

I’ve had LEGOS for almost 20 years and never occurred to me to have a building permit.

Must be to pay for “Obama care”

@oddball1972
More likely to pay for G. W. Bush’s unnecessary trillion dollar war in Iraq.

This reminds me of the time the Code Enforcement Officer of my town sited two 8 year old boys for not having a vendor permit for selling birdhouses they built. They had a stand set up just like for Kool-Aid. We actually made it in to national news for that one.

I think I remember that..there has also been stories about kids being cited for running a neighborhood lemonade stand without a food permit..sad, really.

I love the implication that government is just way too involved in our lives.

Gah! It’s Lego! The plural of lego is lego!

Wow, calm down. I’m guessing you’re referring to the name of the company. But if I tell my kids to go pick up their “Lego”, they’ll pick up one and I’ll step on the rest (ouch!). So, rather than saying “Go pick up your Lego bricks”, I will still say “Pick up your Legos”. Jeez, it’s just a comic… lighten up. ;-)

Irrelevant, laughable connection to Obamacare – ignored. Irrelevant riposte to that – ignored. Correctly pointing out that it is Lego, not Legos – SIR YOU GO TOO FAR!
If your kids do that, discipline them for knowingly disobeying you rather than playing their game and giving them control. You need to lighten up rather less.

OK, Mr. (or Ms.) Grammar – how about when used as a verb, as in “Lego my Eggo”?

You start a lexical complaint with a word that doesn’t exist?

I live in WV, around here the only thing you don’t have to have a building permit for is cutting you grass or trimming srhubs.

Is it just me, or does cartoonist Tom Wilson look like William Fichtner’s twin brother?
“Who the hell is William Fichtner, TCL?”
Glad you asked. Since you have forgotten Prison Break, and I never saw Entourage, look him up. Compare photos. Tell me I’m wrong.
