I confess, the symbology is beyond me.
.
I may feel silly later, but WHAT do either cartoon represent?
.
The real man laughing at her image of a stick figure? huh?
.
A vending machine for animals? what?

I can understand the left-hand ‘toon: He’s laughing at what she’s describing, and doesn’t believe that the stick figure is stalking her.
.
As for the right…. I could see several breeds of dogs actually go for such a machine (without having to pay, however) —and operate it to get the biscuit. The analogy is that kids go for sweets (gumballs) as much as dogs go for biscuits.
.
At least, that’s MHO….

Obviously stick men are taking over Brazil but only the children have noticed and in Mexico dogs have coins to use in vending machines.
