   Anyone who thinks the “right wingers” aren’t also part of the “thought police” is crazy. All those “uber-religious” trying to convict folks for looking at pictures on line, and sentencing them for longer terms than the folks PRODUCING the “porn”, or selling hard drugs, or even homicide in some cases, are really taking us down a “slippery slope”.

   I’ve read books about stalin and I read Gulag Archipelago.

   And that just goes to show you how stupid the laws are trying to prohibit pornography. Just like the pot laws, we fill the jails and waste law enforcement time and money trying to enforce laws that shouldn’t exist to begin with. Prohibition doesn’t work. I guess the "uber religious are just going to have to get over it.

   Haven’t seen “uber” used as such but it makes sense. “Uber = to an extreme or excessive degree.”

   Hey, when the Chinese Ambassador flatly chews out the Sec of State and tells her that when the United States gets it’s total number of prisoners down to a total less than that of China’s, which has four times your population, then you get to lecture us about political prisoners, we just might have a problem. Can’t go ten miles without finding a prison nowadays. At least not around where I live. There’s several within half an hour’s driving time.

   I understand Christians are similar. A relative in America told me she knows a Christian who drinks blood.

   Every person in jail without a victim to point out is a political prisoner. That is the definition of the phrase.

   We in America consider sef administered euphoria a politial stance worse than calling for rebellion. Other countries are vice versa, it is a matter of opinion and caprice as who gets jailed.

   But the Chinese Ambassador is correct, America has more political prisoner per capita than any other nation on earth.
   .
   Quite the accomplishment considering the competition, Iran, Egypt, Syria, all of Africa.
   America locks up a greater percentage of citizens than any of them.
