How about cutting 90% of the non-athletic drivel and sentimental crap that constitutes “Olympic coverage” and put MORE sports into the event?

No sport in the original Greek Olympics should be removed. It WOULD be nice if during the games the dropped all those pre-taped stories of the AMERICAN ONLY athletes and actually provided some coverage of the events. Oh, right, you can see an event or two, if you tape them at 3 a.m., two days after the event took place!
