    King James Isaiah 17:1=
    “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.”
    IMO, this prophecy is drawing closer to fulfillment. If Iran or Syria uses missiles against Israel, as has been often threatened, Israel will be the Hand of God in missile retaliation and how could Damascus escape destruction?
    (thank you, Radish, for your post on a cartoon showing the basic reason God will punish the Assyrian tribes for a long history of shedding innocent blood and their enmity for God’s Chosen People, Israel.)
