   Never quite know how low the depths the Goadmins’ knowledge plumbs: why is this ViewsMideast? India is in Asia and Islam is prevalent globally with greater representation in Africa and Asia, not just the Middle-East.
   
   Cartoon reminds me more of the Zulu horns and the bull pincer movement than the moon & crescent.

   The USA is merely the current target of contempt, hatred, assault, killing and general despite. Down the road, this Muslim Brotherhood & Company contrived and mandated to Muslim citizens public expressions, will include India and Saudi Arabia and Russia and all non-Jihadist nations.

   Do you honestly think that your being a leftist will protect you from the islamists? Forget it. They will happily kill you and your family, as soon as any other american.

   As someone from the right, I have actually listened to what they say about us and it is very simple. They want genocide on everyone that does not believe in the same kind of islam that they believe. If they killed every american and every Jew on the planet, they would celebrate for half an hour and then get down to the business of killing each other.

   We need to recognize that we are in a genocidal conflict and deal with it on those terms. You cannot just hold someone at arms length who is trying to knife you to death. There will be another war, and the way things are going, it is going to be a nuclear exchange between Iran sponsered surrogates, to give the iranians deniablility, and the West. We should recognize that and prepare accordingly.

   America used two nuclear weapons and ended a conflict in which the other side used suicide bombings as a weapon. That ended the war in days. Our failure to do that again has lead to the longest war in American history.

   It used to be a limited war was fought with all our strength but for limited objectives. Post WWII a limited war has been redefined to mean wars fought with limited means. We have not been so successfull with that as we might have hoped.

   We can and should make it clear that if attacked, the United States will launch a full retaliatory nuclear attack upon the nations that sponsored or supported the attack. Make it clear to Iran that their 500 biggest cities will be obliterated within 90 minutes of an attack on us.

   We will not have to destroy more than about a dozen or so to get the point across to the islamist that attacking the US or its allies is a very bad idea.

   In 1941, the US declared an embargo against Japan, and warned Pearl Harbor to be ready for a sneak Japanese attack.

   
   In 1942, the US built a pile of about 20 tons of uranium in Chicago, and it began to get hot. This was fission.

   
   Then the US moved the pile to Alabama where, after three years, the pile had enough Plutonium for two bombs, and (the US claimed) they had made another bomb from U235.

   
   After ’45, all the would-be-great powers wanted a bomb. The USSR had lots of uranium, and set off a bomb. The British Empire had lots of uranium, and the UK set off a bomb. The French Empire had lots of uranium, and the French set off a bomb. China had lots of uranium, and the Chinese set off a bomb.

   
   The Iranians are trying to build a U235 bomb by extracting the U235 from the reactor-grade fuel they acquired under the Shah. They are unlikely to succeed.

    If the United States pulls out and says its because of the Islamists and Iran, and that they also demanded that we take our AID with us, how soon do you think the people who enjoy our aid will be looking at the Islamists and blaming them for everything?

    Man, you guys really have your head up your own arses. Aid? It’s conditional aid if any “aid” exists. You’re buying something in exchange for goods & services if any money is involved.
    You’re in the region for your own self -interests, not theirs. Called Realpolitik. Aid indeed.

    and you did not even consider the possibility that Iran is daily threatening the existence of Jewish Israel, and is accumulating missiles with a range to hit Tel Aviv, and is trying to build a nuclear weapon to put on top of their missiles? Then, indeed, all bets are off……because Israel won’t allow a second Holocaust…..and they have a right to ensure their survival.
