   Either you’re a continental European who wishes the bloody Brits would just bugger off and stop spoiling the party, or, you’re British and you want to bugger off to the middle of the Atlantic, continue to labour under the delusion of greatness of a past glorious Empire while actually a waning middling-power and wishes the bloody Europeans would just leave you alone.

   I believe England is more concerned about who is going to get stuck with the bill for Greece, Spain, Portugau, and France, true Ireland is in the same boat but easier to fix one country than 5 and growing

   Sort of the reverse of the Soviet Union. Now it’s shrunk to Russia again, with lots of ‘stans’ to the east and several other ‘new’ states to the West and South.
