It’s political partisanship that drives the anti-science brigade. If folks would just ignore their politics when it came to judging the merits of scientific explanations for global events, there’d be far less strife in the world and a cleaner one to boot.

Its money that drives the politics, oil companies don’t want to change even if they destroy the world.

The oil companies are sitting on 21 gigatons of hydrocarbons. Scientists say we can safely burn 5 gigatons more and still stay under 2 degrees C (3.4 degrees F) Unfortunately the oil companies want the entire 21 gigatons burned. Then we get worst case. A rise of 9°-11° C and sooner too, maybe as early as 2050 instead of 2100 AD.

Care to present us with a reasoned rebuttal to the recently released IPCC report? The world’s scientists have marshaled a very impressive set of studies that gives them at least 95% confidence that our present climate change is largely driven by human activities.

To cite Limbaugh and his dittoheads, “faith and common sense” (from idiots) outweighs science every time, right??

The report doesn’t follow all of the failed models. Don’t just listen to the politics.

If you actually listened to the scientists, instead of just calling names, maybe you’d have a little bit of credibility.
