Do they know it’s Christmastime at all?
(That’s not meant to be flippant. That song tears me up.)

Lets not breed where there are not enough resources to support the population.

I prefer “We are the World” —which was written by Michael Jackson:
.
“We are the World
We are the Children
“We are the ones to make a brighter day
So let’s start giving…..”

Katanga, ask any liberal: it’s Bush’s fault. The liberals can’t do anything for you, they don’t give their own money to the poor. Maybe they can lower test standards for you….

I admire the sentiment (although I doubt “USA for Africa” would have existed were it not for “BandAid”), but I don’t like the song.
“Do They Know It’s Christmastime?” isn’t a “feel-good” song; it’s the equivalent of an Oxfam ad with a picture of a starving child reading “You can save this child’s life…or you can turn the page.”
“We Are The World” seems (to me) to be little more than a group-hug.

Katanga, I’m faxing you an application for an EBT card and obamaphone. Help is on the way.

so now you are for what you were against?

@1opinion
The first comment was what I would say to Katanga, the second comment is what Lord Ears would say.
BTW, Ears is harboring two fugitives, an aunt and uncle, who were caught here illegally. Bet your bonnet both are now in plush Section 8 housing with full welfare benefits, EBT cards, obamaphone, etc…

Since you hate living in the US so much, and your ROMNEY LANDSLIDE turned out to be deranged fantasy, why don’t you move? Civil war is picking up in the Congo. Good place to unload your hate.

As I typed before, you are now for what you were against. But now you wish to extend American support services to citizens of Africa.

Actually, the biggest problem African nations face is Government corruption. In our nation, we have too many moochers to be able to rationally help other nations cope with their issues. I would gladly trade one of our moochers for 10 Katangas.
