    Today’s background music: “Born to be Wild” by Steppenwolf.
    BTW, why the rerun?

    @Sherlock Watson

    An excellent question. But it’s not just today. I went back to see the comments to yesterday’s strip. Seventeen hours after I posted my comment, after CameronPB1988 had posted the colorized version even, I found that they had changed the strip to one from June 10th 198?. And based on the look of Orson, Booker, and Sheldon, I’m guessing that question mark is ‘86, some time shortly after Booker and Sheldon’s intro. And it’s not just today and yesterday, as you go back through they all seem to be reruns. Course the entire strip is a rerun since it ended in ‘89, so it’s reruns of reruns.

    Wow. Dueling reprints. Confusion x2.
    Could GoComics just be using these reprints because they’re already colored, instead of colorizing the new reprints?
    Does that make sense? And is it in English?
    Parley voo gibberish?

    Somehow I doubt it’s the question of colored vs. black & white that’s the issue. Considering their slipshod way of colorizing other strips that were originally published only in black and white, I wouldn’t think I takes them much time or effort to do the colorizing.

    So why – after over two years of running the original series in order – and with less than a year left until the end – why did someone decide to screw things up? But then should we really be surprised? I’ve seen them rerun Liberty Meadows storylines just two months after they had rerun them last.

    I think that some big shot doesn’t like what you’re doing.
