    Health care for all, what b.s.; at best it only spreads the cost of pre-existing conditions. Just as many, if not more, people will have their insurance canceled as will become eligible. And costs will go up, if not insurance premiums then government subsidies that need to be paid for.

    Birth Pangs? It’s the mother who has birth pangs, not the baby…

    “The problem is we need single payer. SO many of the opponents of single payer are elderly conservatives benefiting from Medicare. Sad hypocrisy.”

    Ask yourself what effect single payer would have on the existing insurance corporations. Then ask yourself why the Republicans are against it.

    This approach works for many issues.

    @Debt Free

    Dude…your avatar is so appropriate! It says more about you than you’ll ever realize. Alfred E Neuman?!? The intelligence level is spot on. I’ve been following you around this site recently and all I’ve seen from you are verbal hand grenades tossed out strictly for effect. Would love to see something from you besides an insult.

    At the end of the day, regardless of lack of quality execution, how could providing someone with health insurance, who currently doesn’t have it, be a bad thing?!?

    If by “intelligent” you mean “Kool Aid approved and all worshiping of Obama and the overlords of the left”; it’ll never happen. He suffers from a condition called “thinking”.

    You have pointed our one of the few winners of Obamacare; those with preexisting conditions. Now who is paying the difference? Flying magic unicorns? No, it will be the middle class who have lost their present insurance because of the ACA.
    What will be interesting is the recent revelation that the IRS does not have the “teeth” to enforce the Obamacare penalty tax; so you don’t want it, don’t get it and ignore the bill. What happens to those with preexisting conditions who are (or at least should) flock to the ACA when there aren’t enough healthy people to make up the difference?

    “Now who is paying the difference?”

    The same people who were footing the bill when the uninsured used emergency rooms for their medical care. Or were you unaware that has been happening? Do you want to go back to that unsustainable system?

    Do you have an alternative to propose, or are you a Republican?
