    it is not just Philadelphia. Americans would rather spend their money on important things like I-Pads and SmartPhones rather on some cheap no account child of theirs and their education. besides Schools cost money and raise taxes and god knows no red blood american wants to pay taxes for anything other than nuclear bombs.

    We spend more per child than anybody and graduate idiots, get rid of the Department of Education. Education should be local, if they produce idiots, they don’t get jobs in that locality.

    I agree bring back the paddles and displine in schools. Stop welfare make them come to the schools and clean and sweep and clean streets. Maybe then the kid would say I can study and get a good job or I can clean streets and pick up garbage all day .

    oh forgot stop taxing the crap and regulating business so that you drive them out of the country maybe you would have a better tax base to improve the schools. And maybe that would be an incentive for kids to learn because there is a job out there. And remember the more they tax the more pet project they will spend it on
