Never is when the NRA will be agreeable to any law that saves lives of innocents. They need those big capacity magazines to hunt rabbits, AK 47s and AR-15s to hunt deer and so on. Right, I’ve been near the impact point of automatic weapon fire from poachers (after dark) and it is not pleasant.

    None.

There is simply no rational argument to be made for the NRA’s position so they resort to posturing instead. Now let me think, where have I seen this behavior before?

I think realistic gun regulation would be respectful to the dead, and very much so to those that avoid being shot up from an assault weapon because there aren’t any just hanging around. Also, too many home arguments end up with someone taking the all-to-handy handgun and using it to make a point that ends that particular argument.

    Marvin Gaye comes to mind.

Justice, had a guy shoot at us when we were hunting. Told him to stop, he didn’t. A round on each side of him, two inches from his hips, convinced him to “depart”. These were bolt-action weapons, not automatic, but been there too.

Simple fact, the U.S. simply IS the easiest place in the world for true “crazies” to obtain weapons. “Tribal feuds” around the world aren’t “crazy”, they’re “cultural”. GEE, maybe we’re on board?

    “9/11 trouthers”

Are you suggesting that there are only 9-11 female trout?

The 50,000 gun laws already on the books didn’t stop these losers. And Washington DC, which has done a wonderful job of disarming lawful citizens, is the murder capital of the USA.

Sure. Right after we talk about car control (many more people die in car crashes from texting, or drunken driving), right after we talk about hear attacks (kills far more people than shootings), right after we talk about domestic violence (not fair to focus on the dead when there’re far more wounded- again, more victims in DV than GSW)
Where’s the outrage? Where’s the media frenzy? Let’s see your commentary on that, Mr. Auth. C’mon, step up!

It’s easy to show your ignorance. What weapon was used in WI? Which weapons did the damage in CO? Just repeat the party line like a good little bot.
