It’s an…interesting…world you live in. Not the real one, but suit yourself.
Funnily enough, the only people I have ever seen claiming anything at all about the ACA being “free” were undereducated Republicans claiming it was advertised that way; honestly I haven’t seen it anywhere else.
Even more oddly, these are usually the same people who completely ignore (or are completely ignorant of?) just how much the millions of uninsured and underinsured people have been costing the US up until this point. The current system is the costliest in the world for one of the poorer outcomes; millions in poorer health than they should be, with this as an added drain on the workforce and tax payers, and debt spread to everyone.
It’s rather ironic that addressing and trying to fix that situation should be most objected to by the class of people who seem most obsessive about “paying for other people.”
