   Some of the other places I post have people that sound just like the ones listed in the cartoons. It’s odd to say, but we seem to have a better class of haters in the gocomics.com forum. Is that effective moderation or are commentators here just not as mean as commentators in other forums?
   Still, I appreciate the posts of people who, while against some of my own positions, sound like neighbors instead of opponents. I like that.

   If there’s one thing we celebrate and embrace in this country, it’s hatred. I remember after the tsunami hit Japan, someone posted a collage of Facebook posts and tweets saying “that’s God getting revenge for Pearl Harbor!”. Not a single one of those idiots was even alive during World War II.
