    Some birds have actually changed their songs to be easier to hear over traffic noise.

    I’ve noticed this, just last week actually couldn’t believe I could hear the damn bird over the noise of the leafblower and the earplugs.

    ellisaana: In my youth, we had a neighbor who would play Katchiturian’s Sabre Dance over and over. Finally the neighborhood mockingbird started performing it too. Never could get the trombone glissandos, though.
