My dog has a small tail but I can usually tell what he’s thinking, it’s usually that he’s hungry. It’s when he’s eating that it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking.

We’ve had some stumpy-tailed dogs. Usually they ended up wiggling their whole butt.

How can you tell if a dog is a Labrador Retriever? If he is glad to see you, everything behind his nose moves.

@treesareus
How negligent do you have to be to slam a dog’s tail in a door? There’s no reason to dock a dog’s tail or “train” a dog’s ears other than the owner’s superficiality.

Mine had to have his tail amputated after it was run over by a car. Normally I am opposed to the practice.
