Koko is right. I still see an unaccounted for tail every so often at my home too.

Thinking about the pets I’ve lost in my life brings tears to my eyes. Very good strip as always.

I swear I feel my first dog Margaret jumping up on the bed with me at night.
It still makes me tear up to look at her pictures.
I love every dog I’ve ever had the privilege to share a home with!

the good thing about dogs is you dom’t have to compare them to previous pets because each has their own distinct personality.

amen to that. My dogs have always been bassets, and while they all may all look similar, their behavior and personality were unique to themselves.

there was a pretty good Robin Williams movie titled ‘What dreams may become’ In it, Williams’ character died and went to the afterlife and in it, he met his old family dog who had to be put to sleep for age-related ailments. But the old dog was once again a young, exuberant, bounding doggie once again.
To me, it posed an interesting question.
If you could only choose one of your many canine companions you had through the years, which one would you choose to be reunited with?

I couldn’t pick just one – it would be like Sophie’s choice. I have loved all of my furry babies, and would cheerfully give my eyeteeth (without anaesthetic) to spend even an hour with them again.

I don’t think iMudd is comparing. I think he’s seeking forgiveness, and I think he is forgiven.

I keep wondering if maybe…God will let us be reunited with our former beloved pets in heaven. I would be so happy to once more run with the four dogs I had, to pet all the cats I loved, and hold my hamsters and hear my parakeets chattering away. What bliss! =)
