Doesn’t matter. Obviously no one online uses it.

I only wished it was that helpful. Firefox’s spell checker is more helpful than the one in MS Word.

When spell check automatically corrects errors and makes corrections in punctuation quietly, then it will be sophisticated. This one is just a nag.

Well with such a general all encompassing statement I ’d be correct in calling you WRONG!

Spell check helps but only if it is a wrong spelling, not the wrong word. Also doing this shouldn’t put us under the grammarian microscope. It is just rude to do so. Especially when such a grammarian ignores the comment section to do it. I think the grammarians need to understand what etiquette means.

Mine has an “add to” on it for unfamiliar words and names. I use Mozella firefox.

Most Spell Checks will allow words to be added. However, the Grammar check is not only often an idiot that doesn’t understand complex subjects or dependent clauses, but also doesn’t allow rules to be turned off.
