Mom taught all of us to read and write before we entered kindergarten and it wasn’t ‘Dick and Jane’ level either.

Oh yes! Our first thriller. Dick, Jane and Spot. The movie could never equal the book.

I loved reading them. As we progressed from 1st grade to 6th, the books “grew” up along with us. Made for interesting stories with characters we already knew.
